The Ukulele Traders are pleased to introduce the Shubb C9 Capo for Ukulele

Ukelele fans, now you can capo your instrument too! Quick key changes made easy thanks to the Shubb C9 uke capo.

Here’s what Shubb say about the Shubb C9 Ukelele Capo

At a glance it looks like our banjo capo, but it closes onto a much smaller neck, and accomodates a slightly wider fretboard. Testing on many brands confirms this capo is a perfect fit on all tenors, sopranos, concerts, and baritones …except the occasional baritone with a very large neck. In these cases, our banjo capo (any model 5) is a good fit.

More info about this Product

Baritone Ukuleles

Baritone ukuleles are the largest standard size and offer a deeper, warmer tone that sits closer to a classical guitar. Tuned typically to D-G-B-E, they feel familiar to guitar players and are ideal for those wanting a smoother transition between instruments.

They are well suited to more relaxed playing styles, fingerpicking, and vocal accompaniment. The larger body gives more volume and resonance, making baritone ukuleles a great choice for players looking for a fuller, richer sound.

Concert Ukuleles

Concert ukuleles are slightly larger than soprano models, offering a more comfortable playing experience while retaining the classic ukulele tone. They provide a bit more room on the fretboard, making them popular with adult beginners and intermediate players.

With a balanced sound and increased volume compared to soprano ukuleles, concert models are versatile and well suited to both strumming and fingerstyle playing.

Soprano Ukuleles

Soprano ukuleles are the smallest and most traditional size, known for their bright, cheerful tone. Their compact design makes them lightweight and easy to handle, especially for beginners or younger players.

They deliver the classic “island” sound most people associate with ukuleles and are perfect for simple chords, strumming, and casual playing.

Ukuleles

Ukuleles are compact string instruments known for their bright tone and easy playability. Available in a range of sizes including soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone, they suit players of all levels.

They are widely used across many styles of music and are especially popular for their simplicity, portability, and fun, approachable nature.
