The Kala Makala MK-B Baritone Ukulele is the perfect instrument for anyone looking to get started with playing the ukulele. A rosewood fretboard provides a silky-smooth playing surface to effortlessly glide across with ease. This is supported with an impeccable mahogany neck which allows for fast playability whilst also ensuring a comfortable grasp. The Baritone shaping is perfect for offering increased projection and a rich deeper tone that cuts blissfully through the mix.
Kala is one of the most respected ukulele brands globally, based in California with production in Asia. They are known for consistent quality across all price ranges, from beginner models to professional-grade instruments.
The Kala KA series is a staple for learners, while their higher-end solid wood ukuleles are favoured by more serious players. Kala is often seen as a safe and reliable choice, offering excellent balance between quality and price.
Baritone ukuleles use the largest standard ukulele body and are commonly tuned D-G-B-E, like the highest four strings of a guitar. Their longer scale and deeper voice suit guitarists, fingerstyle playing and players who want more space on the fretboard. Compare body depth, scale length, wood or laminate construction, electronics and the included case or gig bag.
Baritone ukuleles have the largest standard ukulele scale and are commonly tuned D-G-B-E. This tag is useful when comparing deeper-voiced instruments, longer necks, larger bodies, electro-acoustic options and suitable cases or strings.
This tag groups products directly associated with ukuleles, including instruments and closely related equipment. Compare size, construction, tuning, accessories and intended use rather than treating every ukulele listing as the same format.
